Hearing before the Quebec Court of Appeal on national securities regulator challenge by the Quebec government expected to last a full week.


Quebec’s legal system may end up being crippled next week as crown prosecutors and lawyers step up their pressure tactics. Ninety per cent of membership representing Quebec government lawyers voted for a strike on Monday. Crown prosecutors are expected to vote on pressure tactics this Saturday.
